We work where Book Smarts meets Street Smarts. Sometimes the people with impressive educational credentials seem to be completely lacking in common sense. We strive to bring the two together. We know the fancy stuff, but don’t want to make your situation more complicated than necessary. And most importantly, we want you to understand what we have done. If you don’t understand what we have provided you with, you are not empowered. We will listen to you and tailor a solution for you: what will bring you the best results and most improve your situation.

We actually make house-calls! That’s right–if it helps you to have us come to you in your home, office, hospital room or care facility, or even if you just prefer it, we are happy to do so at NO extra charge. Just ask.
Our Innovative Fee Model
And we will do this for a price you will generally know in advance–a flat fee. Because you are not buying our time, or wanting to pay us to sit around and ‘be smart’ and ‘look good’. You want a solution to a problem, and a plan going forward. So that is what we offer.
Why do we do this? Because we recognize that there are times when you want (or need) the advice and assistance of a real lawyer. Not a computer form or data from some website that may or may not really apply. But an actual, experienced lawyer that you can talk to in person. But at the same time, you don’t want legal matters to control your life or your pocketbook. With flat-fee legal services the solution is here. We try to build a base of happy clients by being straightforward and hones, and addressing ourselves to your real concerns.
Does this apply to everything we do? Sadly, no. We have tried to think of every matter we handle and apply a flat fee to it — and if you present a new matter to us, we will try to find a way to apply a flat fee to it. However, sometimes a flat fee just won’t work. Generally, where court involvement is concerned, a flat fee won’t work because outcomes in court are so unpredictable. However, even in our most common court matters (such as Probate or Guardianship Matters) we have flat fees for certain aspects of the matter, with hourly rates that apply when the unanticipated occurs (such as an heir filing suit against the executor).
